Software Engineer — AI-Assisted Development
About the role
At Bina we build the operating system Saudi contracting companies run on every day: employees, attendance, leave, projects, contracts, progress claims and accounting — Arabic-first, used by real people against real data.
We are looking for a software engineer who has made AI models part of how they work, not a tool they occasionally try. We do not need you to train models. We need you to know when to lean on them, when not to trust them, and to review what they produce before it reaches production.
What you will work on • Features end to end: a Next.js front end, a Hono service and Postgres through Drizzle, in one Bun monorepo. • Systems that touch people's money and time — attendance calculation, payroll, progress claims — where a small mistake is not cosmetic. • Arabic-first interfaces with full RTL support, bilingual where it matters. • Raising the quality bar on AI-generated work across the team: review, tests, and the guardrails that keep wrong code out of production.
What we look for • Hands-on TypeScript, React or Next.js, and a relational database. • A track record of reading an existing codebase and changing it safely — not only greenfield work. • Genuine daily use of AI models in your engineering, with a clear sense of their limits. • You write tests for what you build, and you read other people's code critically. • Arabic and English, reading and writing.
Nice to have • Prior work on ERP, accounting or HR systems. • Experience with sensitive production data and database migrations. • Open-source contributions or shipped side projects.
